Decision indication for specific purposes
A decision sign is a white sign with black text that refers to a port, loading or unloading place, marina and the like. With regard to the font height to be used and the required legibility distance, reference is made to the table below.
The waterways are divided into 4 waterway groups according to water level width as an aid to choosing the correct sign size. The signs must be placed parallel to the axis of the waterway. The mileage runs from source to sea or from high to low canal building.
