Shipping Sign BPR E.11
End of a prohibition or injunction valid for one direction or end of a restriction
If several prohibitions, commandments or restrictions apply and one or more of them end, then it is indicated by means of text on a plate which prohibition (s) or restriction (s) is (are) being terminated, or which (s) concerning prohibition, commandment or restriction sign (s) still applicable is (are) repeated. Application of the sign E.11 usually takes place to terminate prohibitions, commandments or restrictions indicated by the characters A.2, A.3, A.4, A.9, B.6, B.11, C.3 and C.5. Annex 7 of the BPR contains two models of the symbol E.11, namely a rectangular and a square model. The purpose of this is that each design can correspond in terms of dimensions to the applied prohibition, order or restriction sign, so that the sign E.11 can be placed against the back of the sign in question. The end of a particular prohibition can also be indicated by indicating at the prohibition sign the distance over which the prohibition applies (see example at sign F.2).
Our official shipping signs are produced from durable aluminum and provided with a double folded edge to reinforce the shipping sign. The double folded edge is also used for mounting the shipping sign to poles or light poles. For good night visibility, we provide the shipping signs with retro-reflective film class II or III. Our shipping signs are provided with CE marking

The shipping sign E.11 is executed in accordance with the guidelines for Traffic Signs Shipping (BPR), established by the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management.
