Forbidden to cause annoying water movements

The sign is applied in places where it is not clearly visible to the waterway user that nuisance as referred to in Article 6.20 BPR is to be expected at unchanged sailing speed. Placement is mainly used for work in progress such as bridge construction, work on the banks, but also for ships moored at bunkering stations or shipyards. For these applications, A.9 is preferred over B.6

Our official shipping signs are produced from durable aluminum and provided with a double folded edge to reinforce the shipping sign. The double folded edge is also used for mounting the shipping sign to poles or light poles. For good night visibility, we provide the shipping signs with retro-reflective film class II or III. Our shipping signs are provided with CE marking

The shipping sign A.9 is executed in accordance with the guidelines for Traffic Signs Shipping (BPR), established by the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management.
