To be used for a narrowing of the shipway where simultaneous passage from two directions is not possible. It is recommended it to place a sign at a lock or bridge open on both sides,
which is provided with the signaling 2 x 2 green lights, ie that the work of art is not served.

The shipping sign A.4 is executed in accordance with the guidelines for Traffic Signs Shipping (BPR), established by the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management.
