Shipping Sign BPR A.17
Prohibited for sailboards - windsurfing
Sailing with sailboards - windsurfing is prohibited on parts of many waterways intended for through voyages (BPR appendix 16). The waterways and parts thereof are included in the Inland Waterways Police Regulations or in the local regulations. Indicating the prohibition by means of the above sign entails a number of practical complications. First, it must also face the landward side. After all, from there one will use the sailboard. Secondly, the sailboard paddler on the water must also know that he is not allowed to enter a certain area.
Our official shipping signs are produced from durable aluminum and provided with a double folded edge to reinforce the shipping sign. The double folded edge is also used for mounting the shipping sign to poles or light poles. For good night visibility, we provide the shipping signs with retro-reflective film class II or III. Our shipping signs are provided with CE marking
