Indication of diversions
The designation for temporary detour routes consists of a decision indication, ie an orange sign with black text. It is recommended that this sign is only used if it makes sense for recreational boating. With regard to the font height to be used and the required legibility distance, reference is made to the table below.
The waterways are divided into 4 waterway groups according to water level width as an aid to choosing the correct sign size. The signs must be placed parallel to the axis of the waterway. The mileage runs from source to sea or from high to low canal building.

Our official shipping signs are produced from durable aluminum and provided with a double-turned edge that reinforces the shipping sign. The double bent edge is also used for mounting the shipping sign on a bottle pole, tube pole or light pole. For good night visibility, we provide the shipping signs with class II or III retro-reflective foil. Our shipping signs are provided with CE marking
